Environmentally friendly cutting gas "Hydrocut" for cutting with hydrogen mixture.

A clean cutting gas that replaces acetylene. It is safe and less prone to backfire, and can reduce CO2 emissions by 70%! Cost reduction is also possible.

Hydrocut is a gas that mixes hydrogen, a clean energy source, with ethylene. It can be used for cutting various steel materials, as well as for brazing, bending, distortion correction, chipping, and gouging, just like traditional acetylene. It also contributes to cost reduction. ■ "Safety" - Less likely to cause backfire (for galvanized steel sheets, rusty plates, etc.) - Lighter than air, making it less likely to accumulate ■ "Environmental Impact" - Generates less radiant heat, reducing the rise in body temperature for workers during long hours of work - CO2 emissions can be reduced by 70% compared to acetylene ■ "Workability" - Produces less soot, making it less likely for the nozzle to clog, keeping both the workpiece and the workspace clean - Gas extraction is possible regardless of outside temperature - The quality of the cut surface is good, and materials like high-tensile steel can be cut just as well as with acetylene (less slag and distortion, no burn on the upper cutting edge) - Has heating performance equivalent to acetylene, with less distortion and burning due to flame concentration - Supply is possible with medium-sized gathering containers (cardles), which was not feasible with acetylene 【Demonstrations are also available】 *Please apply through inquiries!

[CO2 Emissions] Hydrogen-Ethylene Mixed Gas 'Hydrocut'

Reducing CO2 for the Earth and the future! Comparing CO2 emissions of "Hydrocut" and "Acetylene."

We would like to introduce the CO2 emissions of the hydrogen-ethylene mixed gas "Hydrocut," handled by Iwatani Gas Corporation. The CO2 emissions for one Hydrocut cylinder (7m³) are calculated as 1.062kg/m³ × 7m³ = 7.4kg per cylinder. The CO2 emissions for one acetylene cylinder (7kg) are calculated as 3.505kg/m³ × 7m³ = 24.5kg per cylinder. By using 100 acetylene cylinders annually, it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions by 1,710kg. 【CO2 Emissions】 ■ Hydrocut: 1.062kg/m³ ■ Acetylene: 3.505kg/m³ *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
